Consolidated breakout: who's ready to become a household name in 2021?

The pandemic-induced tour shutdown robbed the 2020 tennis season of five full months and over 60 percent of its tournaments, but that did not stop a long list of players from turning heads with breakthrough performances.

“I know things were very tricky, and it was a very tough season,?but there were still so many positives,” Badosa told the WTA website after a break- through fourth-round run at Roland Garros. “I learned so much about myself.”

Who will build on her success in 2021? With so many possibilities, it’s safe to say at least some of these fresh faces will go from breakout star to household name.?
