Two days after arriving in Dubai, my COVID-19 test came back positive. I went into self-isolation and didn't train for 2 weeks. The symptoms were very strange, it was bad! I fully recovered now and my focus is to go back training!

While saying her symptoms were "bad," she added, "I [am] fully recovered now and my focus is to go back training."?
Yastremska, who won three WTA titles in her teens, began the season by reaching the final at Adelaide. But she went winless in her final three events and also split with her coach, Sascha?Bajin, following the US Open.
The world No. 29 is currently still in Dubai, training with her team. Her announcement did not indicate whether she will return to competition when the WTA season starts in Abu Dhabi.
"It has been a tough two weeks for me," she said.?
